The making process

Every single photocard at KoBaeBaeShop is made by hand, by me (hi, it's Cristina 👋). Here's how each set comes to life:

• Print: Cards are printed onto high-quality card stock for that satisfying, solid feel that won't flop around in your case.

• Lamination: Each card is then laminated for protection, giving it a smooth, durable finish that holds up to everyday handling (phone case in, phone case out - we've all been there 😂).

• Cut & check: Every card is hand-cut and individually checked before it leaves my desk. If it's not right, it doesn't go out.

• Sleeve & pack: Cards are sleeved in protective toploader-style sleeves and packaged carefully so they arrive in perfect condition.

Materials I use

• Card stock - thick enough to feel premium, the right size to fit your phone case or binder pocket without fuss.

• Lamination film - adds a protective layer that keeps colours vivid and surfaces scratch-resistant.

• Protection sleeves - every card ships sleeved so it doesn't pick up any marks in transit. Because zero anxiety is the whole point. ✨

What makes each set special

Because everything is made individually, no two batches are exactly identical - and that's a feature, not a bug. 😊
Small variations in cutting, the way the laminate catches the light, tiny details in the design - these are the fingerprints of something genuinely handmade. You're not getting a factory card. You're getting the card.

Care & handling

Your cards are built to be used and loved - but a little care goes a long way:

• Keep them in their sleeve when not in use - especially if they're living in a binder or toploader.

• Avoid direct sunlight for long periods (colours will thank you 🌞).

• If they get a little dusty, a soft dry cloth does the job - no water or cleaning sprays needed.

• Don't bend them on purpose. I laminate so you don't have to cry. Please don't test this.

Turnaround times

Everything is made to order by one person (again: hi 👋), so please allow:

• Standard orders: 7-10 business days to process and prepare before shipping.

• Custom orders: 10-14 business days depending on complexity - I'll always confirm your timeline before I start so there are no surprises.

Once your order ships, you'll receive tracking details so you can follow it all the way to your door (and obsessively refresh the tracking page like the rest of us ✈️).
